Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Analyst to join our finance team. This critical role ensures the accurate and timely processing of construction project invoices, manages client payments, and evaluates customer credit risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong Job Title: Credit Analyst / Accounts Receivable

Location: Vancouver, WA

Understanding of construction accounting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and play an essential part in maintaining the company’s financial health and reporting accuracy in a team focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Payment Processing: Verify and process client payments through various methods including ACH, checks, credit cards, and cash.

Accounts Receivable Management: Maintain accurate AR records and produce timely reports, including AR aging and cash flow projections.

Account Reconciliation: Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts and payments.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth financial transactions and maintain a high level of service.

Credit Risk Management: Evaluate customer credit risk by analyzing credit history and references.

Monitoring & Reporting: Track credit exceptions, take corrective actions, and report findings to management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer and internal inquiries in a timely, professional manner.

Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit management.

Qualifications:

Experience: 4+ years of AR experience, ideally within the construction industry.

Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.

Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Compensation/Benefits:

- $60-$65K DOE
