Summer Clubhouse Attendant

The Clubhouse Management Attendant is responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse. They are responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate information about golf and clubhouse operations or any other current activities here at Neskowin Beach Golf Course. The Clubhouse Management Attendant shall always strive to provide exceptional service to both members and guests. They will represent the Neskowin Beach Golf Course in the Community and help promote Neskowin Beach Golf Course as a golf and social destination.
Job Duties:
Customer Service –display a sense of humor, welcome guests, answer phones, assist with golf tee reservations, event planning, provide food and beverage service and respond to common inquires or complaints from members or guests
Maintain professional appearance and work uniform
Always exhibit professional behavior while creating exceptional service
Assist with merchandise selection and sales. Develop merchandise display to market and sell products
Sales Reporting – assist in tracking and analyze sales data
Event Management – assist in planning tournaments, events, set up and tear down, provide service during events
Maintenance & Cleaning – includes cleaning of golf carts, outside clubhouse pick up, daily golf course rounds to pick up trash and cleaning inside the clubhouse
Maintains effective clubhouse operations, including opening and closuring procedures, monitoring players pace on golf course,
Operates golf carts
All other duties as required by the clubhouse manager
Qualifications:
Prefer previous experience hospitality, customer service, event planning or clubhouse or country club operations
Must be able to bend, stretch and lift to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions
Be a team player and display your personality to bring a fun engaging culture.
Job Requirements:
This is a full-time position
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have a strong passion for assisting guests
Must be able to work well under pressure in fast paced environment
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly detail orientated
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
Must always ensure a teamwork environment
Must be able to obtain an Oregon Alcohol Servers Permit
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Details & Duration
July 20 – Sept 15 timeline can be flexible based upon candidate (20-40 hrs / week)
Compensation ($19-$21/hr) is based upon applicant’s experience
Must be willing to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
