Do you love problem-solving on the fly? Do you have stellar communication skills? Do you have a passion for hospitality and curating customer experiences? We are hiring an assistant FOH manager! This position creates a fantastic opportunity to step into a management position at Fort George, potentially your first! This role sets you up to learn about people, those you work with and those you serve, the good, the tough, and the wonderful (sometimes those are all wrapped up in one!).

Department: Front of House

Schedule: This is an exempt /salaried position with a full-time and variable schedule that will include nights, weekends, holidays, and any other times of peak pub sales volumes.

Essential Functions:

● oversee, in conjunction with FOH Manager, all aspects of Front of House (FOH) operations and staff

● lead in taproom operation and staffing and take special interest in building taproom sales

● help to lead daily operations, maintenance, development, and performance of employees, and team motivation

● assist with guest satisfaction and experience with key ownership on days the FOH Manager is away

● attend and assist with front-of-house employee review process, corrective actions, and coaching staff up

The Assistant Manager will work alongside our Front of front-of-house manager, with managerial responsibilities (hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling) and someone to lead our Lovell Taproom. Our Taproom is a cherished place on the block and has room for growth and we want your energy in there! We’re looking for strong change managers, systems builders, and Fort George enthusiasts!
