Lincoln City Church Seeking Custodian as Contractor position
Position: Church Custodian
Pay: $400 per month
Contract Position: $400 per month, as independent contractor you will need to provide proof of General Liability Insurance.
Function: Primary function is to keep the church facilities clean and well-cared for under the direction of Property and Finance Committee.
Duties:
Weekly:
Vacuum hallways, fellowship hall, offices
Sweep wood platform area in sanctuary
Clean and mop kitchen floor
Clean bathrooms, restock paper products
Wipe all kitchen counters
Dust podium, altar, stands in sanctuary and narthex
Empty all garbage to dumpster
Bi-weekly:
Vacuum sanctuary
Remove cobwebs; particularly in the sanctuary
Dust all window sills in building, except offices
Monthly:
Clean and mop tiled and brick entrance areas
Clean inside windows as far as is practicable to reach without climbing on ladders or sills
Duties may be done on a rotation basis so it is possible to keep within time allotted
Schedule: Flexible hours. Primary focus is on work being done, not hours worked.
Skills: General custodial skills and experience. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products. Stocking of restrooms and other paper goods in church. Effective time management, self-initiative, attention to detail.
