Description
Experience preferred, but not required we will train the right person.
Handle Cash and credit transactions with customers.
Scan goods and collect payments.
Ensure proper pricing.
Issue change, receipt, and refunds.
Help sales assistant with Janitorial tasks as available.
Redeem coupons and gift cards.
Count till at open and close of shift to ensure proper cash and adequate change.
Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
Guide customers, provide relevant information, and resolve issues.
Pack purchased items safely.
Greet every customer when entering and leaving.
Maintain cash wrap. Should be kept clean and tidy.
Process returns.
Answer customer questions and get a manger if you can’t answer.
Provide top quality customer service.
Requirements
Basic math is a must! You need to be able to count change back to a customer.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Time management
