Professional services firm adding a Business Development Manager
This role is to lead and direct the marketing and sales success of our companies. We operate in several fields of business services;
Commercial lines insurance
Private investigation
Civil mediation
Records research
Document preparation
The Business Development Manager is in charge of the marketing efforts to use advertising to attract customers, and sales efforts to convert them into transactions. We run 12 core websites, and 100 domain level landing sites.
The process includes expanding the current business development processes, and adding the expertise possessed from your previous experience.
The position is a key partner level role in our company. The compensation structure includes the following components:
Salary: $52,500 annual
Commission: $14,800 annually based on current sales, or $38,500 based on sales required for the expectations of this position
Incentive pay: $16,800 based on the sales increases expected of the position
Bonus: $20,000 based on highly skilled business development efforts results
Equity: Ownership stake in the company is offered based on credentials.
Total income package $69,000 - $135,000
Summary:
If the new partner does not create substantial new sales growth, they would earn roughly $69,000 annually but the position would not be considered a success.
If the new partner achieves the business growth that is reasonably planned, and mutually agreed to be appropriate, the person would earn roughly $135,000 annually.
Entrepreneur minded persons are preferred. You should have very clearly demonstrated prior results in strong business growth history, or be able to describe how you are 96% certain that you will be able to do so for the first time.
