Our Milwaukie, OR site specializes in Power Generation, Power Conversion, Magnetics, and Sensors for extreme environment applications.The primary objective of the Program Manager is to successfully deliver the program vision, benefits and ‘as won’ business case. The Program Manager effectively plans, organizes, monitors and controls all activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of assigned program within established objectives. Oversees current and future research, development, and production programs and ensures results meet requirements regarding scope, budget, and schedule. Partners with technical leaders and collaborates with internal stakeholders, is responsible for product planning, design, delivery, and support of assigned deliverables, including prototypes and products. Works directly with customers, including US government, to ensure satisfaction and promotes customer relationship with Parker Meggitt.Job Core Responsibilities Oversees program lifecycle and manages all activities necessary to assure program performance against the baseline business case Develops detailed program plans; including budget, program schedules, and resource allocation through Integrated Product Teams Monitors projects to assure program goals are met while simultaneously meeting customer satisfaction, safety and quality metrics Manages the entire program process from program capture to program end-of-life Establishes and maintains Monthly Invoicing and reporting requirements and other internal and external reporting requirements as needed Works with site leadership to clarify and align on the priority and requirements Ensures customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service. Acts as primary liaison between customer and internal stakeholders Consolidates program requirements and develops relevant documents for internal and external reporting, to ensure traceability to contractual obligations Assists business capture teams in developing ROI analyses, business opportunity plans and product development road maps based on specific customer requirements Other responsibilities as assignedQualifications Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Advanced degree a plus. 5+ years of relevant experience in program and/or project management. Program management of US Govt programs a plus. Strong background in program/project management methodologies. PMP or CAPM certification a plus. Possess a strong technical background with ability to understand technical specifications and requirements associated with the program. Aerospace industry experience a plus. Ability to work independently and interface with cross-functional disciplines using excellent interpersonal skills to manage projects and drive tasks to completion. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously with adaptability to meet shifting priorities with attention to detail.
