NPI CNC MachinistPaying $33 / HR - $40 / HRLocation - Milwaukie, ORLooking for an NPI (new product introduction) CNC Machinist who will work with programmers to fine-tune programs and run first article inspection. They will set up and operate numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions, such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of mainly metallic (aluminum, Inconel, stainless, titanium) work pieces, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities. The NPI Machinist position is a highly skilled and experienced machinist.Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years CNC Machinist and Set Up experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Level 3 or higher blueprint reading skills.
Proven understanding of feeds and speeds for multiple materials.
5 axis Lathe and Mill experience.
1-year of Mastercam experience, preferred.
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.
Environment/ Shift:
Clean, organized, lean manufacturing aerospace manufacturer. Areas include machine shop and assembly.
Day shift: 5am - 3:30pm M-Th (Rarely OT on Fridays)
