We are seeking experienced Freight Brokers, Account Managers, and Account Executives to support our plans for continued expansion through the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West. PAY: Position is a combination of base salary and commission. Posted range is base comp only. Commission earning potential is uncapped. Ask recruiting for more details on how our commission is structured.
Essential Functions:
Proactively communicate with customers ensuring their needs and concerns are thoroughly understood and addressed.
Monitor loads from pick up to delivery, providing updates to customers.
Address service concerns and proactively develop processes to prevent reoccurring issues.
Manage accounts up to $500M in Annual Revenue.
Maintain strong customer relationship, anticipating and growing profitable business opportunities.
Collaborate with Business Development to identify and expand opportunities.
Work with customers to grow from general account management to dedicated account management status.
Manage the account plan using our CRM, including stakeholder mapping, SOP’s, data accuracy and general relationship management.; Manage and document all communications through our CRM.; Manage pipeline through our CRM.
Create a collaborative atmosphere by sharing knowledge with coworkers, sharing in their success.; Partner with leadership on sales performance driving organization excellence.
Nurture and grow book of business.; Prospect, establish new contacts within current book of business and source new customers.; Conduct various methods to connect and establish new customers.; Execute new sales opportunities.
Stay current on industry rates and capacity.
Conduct formal business reviews with customer stakeholders, providing clear messaging on areas for improvement.
Support Business Development team by managing House Account book of business.
Work with others to assist in achieving the organizations’ objective.
Facilitate Customer Onboarding by establishing SOP’s, setting communication expectations, and ensuring a smooth transition.
Secondary Functions:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitors, providing valuable insights to clients.
Support Business Development in contract renewals.
Provide backup coverage to teammates as needed.
Gather feedback from clients to understand their needs, preferences, and satisfaction levels, using this information to make recommendations for improvements.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of Account Management in Transportation; progressive customer service experience in Transportation will also be considered.
Associate degree required; a bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of skills & experience 5+ years’ will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven professionalism and the ability to prepare and conduct successful customer meetings.
Proficient in MS Office; experience in Revenova Salesforce is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
