CYA Security is hiring Full Time work might be available. No experience is necessary to apply, however desirable candidates must have good customer service skills and a common-sense approach to problem solving. Shifts will vary depending on each job assignment. It is Oregon State Law that you have a DPSST Security Guard Certification ("Unarmed Certification" or an "Event & Entertainment Certification") to work as a security guard for this job. If selected for employment by our company, then an in-house DPSST Unarmed Guard Class to obtain the Unarmed Guard Card may be offered, so that you may start work as soon as completed and you have passed the course (a substantial discounted Instructor Fee and all DPSST Fees will apply. Our company is willing to work with selected candidates, with assistance on these fees, if needed). Employment will not start until you have taken/passed the DPSST "Unarmed Security Guard" Class or the "Event & Entertainment Certification" Online Course and proof of passing and all the paperwork is completed/submitted to Oregon DPSST (Generally the day after classes are completed- you will be eligible to start working) .
Current Certified Guards will have access to work starting possibly immediately. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma (or equivalent). You must be able to pass a criminal background check, which will be conducted by DPSST. You must have your own transportation to and from each job sites.
