The Body Shop Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and vendors entering the auto body shop. This role involves a variety of administrative and customer service duties, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing paperwork related to auto repairs. The receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the body shop and providing a positive, welcoming experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
Answering Incoming Phone calls/Transfer calls to correct departments
Schedule appointments and maintain the reception area
Collect and record customer information accurately
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry
Assisting with Accounting Office duties
Data Entry in Excel and Google Docs
Close out and accurately record daily transactions including balancing daily receipts
Scanning and filing
Provide detailed information about services, pricing, and timelines for vehicle repairs and estimates
Coordinate communication between customers and the body shop department
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues
Provide support to the body shop team as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in using computer systems and basic software applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
