Manual Machinist

RAM Hydraulic Manufacturing in Merlin Oregon is hiring! We are in need of one full time Manual Machinist.

RAM Hydraulic Manufacturing is the leader in the development of hydraulic equipment for both Pipe Bursting Trenchless Technologies and the Post Tensioning industry. Our machines are built to be both cost effective and durable.

REQUIREMENTS: 3+ Years experience manufacturing machined parts from both aluminum and steel. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must, as well as proficiency in reading and following blueprints. Good math skills are essential. Proficiency at reading and interpreting drawing and blueprints. MIG Welding is a plus!

JOB DUTIES: Working experience on both old school manual lathe and vertical mills as required to perform individual turning, milling and drilling operations. Perform both rough and finish work on parts. Familiar with most machining tools, lathes and mills. Ability to use measuring instruments to maintain accuracy to within .005 inch. Familiar with inspection equipment, their functions and uses in order to ensure that all manufactured parts are machined within tolerance limitations. Ability to communicate all manufacturing processes to peers and supervisors. Maintain a neat and clean work area, including wiping equipment and cleaning chips. Excellent, punctual attendance required.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (negotiable)

PAY: DOE
