ANTHOLOGY WOODS MARKETING MANAGER
Anthology Woods is currently soliciting applications for a Marketing Manager.
Anthology Woods works with cutting-edge architects, designers and builders, by manufacturing and supplying finished reclaimed and sustainably sourced wood products and architectural elements. We support green-building projects with amazing aesthetic appeal, excellent customer service, and integrity. Our product line includes flooring, wall cladding and architectural elements. We serve the residential and commercial sectors and our client list includes companies like Google, Starbucks, LuluLemon, Whole Foods, Fidelity, and others.
This is a multi-faceted position responsible for creating and implementing Anthology Woods marketing and communication programs. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and inspired individual with a passion for wood and interior/architectural design, developed marketing skills and an attention to detail.
This individual will revitalize our marketing strategy to increase revenue, gain new customers, and bring brand awareness by launching new products and developing partnerships with like-minded companies including national accounts, brand partners, and design firms. This individual should have a well-rounded skill set, ability to multi-task, and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
In this role you will develop and execute Anthology Woods’ marketing strategy and activities to include branding, digital and print materials, website management and social media. You will make effective recommendations for new products and designs, and promote products and services to increase exposure, market presence, and brand awareness. You will engage with our customers and partners to achieve company goals using email, social media and direct communication.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop digital marketing content including blogs, press releases, photo and video media, and quarterly email newsletters to our subscriber list.
- Develop relationships and work collaboratively with brand partners in co-marketing campaigns.
- Develop graphic media and content for product labeling, physical marketing material, internal support materials, info-graphics, trade show booths, etc.
- Maintain and update Anthology Woods website, including creating new content as needed.
- Photograph new products, gather installation photos, edit and upload to the Anthology Woods website or other digital or print media.
- Create and post social media content and manage engagement on various social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook).
- Conduct customer and market analyses to obtain an understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent copy-writing skills and the ability to proof-read and catch errors before publication.
- Proven photo editing and layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge and skills using Squarespace (or the ability to acquire)
- An eye for design, an understanding of our market and customers.
- Digital marketing skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook) and their use.
- Ability to quickly develop rapport and trust with people.
- Ability to communicate clearly on the phone, in person and in written communication.
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and familiarity with CRM Software.
- Good time management skills, a “self-starter” who does not need constant direct supervision. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence
- Experience with sustainability certifications (FSC, Declare Label, HPDs)
- Experience with and knowledge of design and architecture, wood products, woodworking, carpentry, or construction.
- Photography skills, especially experience photographing products, or architectural photography.
Compensation:
This is a part-time (or full-time, with additional sales support responsibilities) position with some schedule flexibility. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
