Job Type: Full-Time (with potential for seasonal fluctuations in hours)

Salary: $15-$25 an hour with options to work $50 an hour Prevailing Wage Jobs

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our growing team. Position Overview:

As a Painter, you will play a key role in preparing surfaces, applying paints, and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship in both residential and commercial settings. You will work as part of a team, assisting with all aspects of painting projects, from initial prep work to final touches. A strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a dedication to quality are essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, priming, and masking to ensure a smooth and clean application.

Painting: Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply paints, stains, and coatings to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and exteriors.

Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each job.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including helpers and crew leads, to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.

Safety: Follow safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions, including handling hazardous materials (paint, solvents, etc.) properly.

Customer Interaction: Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns during the course of the project.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial).

Skills: Proficient with both brush and roller techniques; knowledge of surface preparation methods and materials; experience with both interior and exterior painting.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to producing high-quality results.

Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Valid Driver’s License: Mandatory to have a license, pass a background check, and own a personal vehicle

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-Time Position: Hours typically range from 40 hours per week, with potential for reduced hours during the winter months due to seasonal fluctuations.

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.

Seasonal Flexibility: Winter months may have fewer hours based on weather and project availability.
