We are looking for motivated individuals to work the 2024 season on our OLCC licensed cannabis farm in Wimer, Oregon. Positive attitude, good work ethic, communication, cleanliness, and reliability are key!
Responsibilities include:
· Watering – this includes mixing nutrients, filling reservoirs, understanding feed schedules, and logging feed history.
· Canopy management – topping, training, pruning, defoliating, and trellising
· Equipment Maintenance – cleaning and taking care of all equipment and tools used in cultivation.
· Foliar applications– for feeds, preventative maintenance, and pest treatment
· Transplanting plants
· Pulling tarps (4am start time)
· Organizing plant care workspaces
· Plant propagation
· Irrigation systems maintenance for greenhouse and outdoor applications
· Machinery maintenance and winterization, equipment storage and inventory management
· Field maintenance and prep (i.e. tractor usage, tilling, weeding, etc.)
As a cultivation team member, you will work closely with your team and manager to ensure that projects are completed on time, plant health is maintained, and problems are addressed. This position requires heavy lifting and manual labor.
Job Type: Seasonal (April-December)
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40-50 per week
Some Spanish language skills preferred
