As a Irrigation Technician at Rogue Valley Manor, you’ll provide routine and spontaneous maintenance, upkeep, repairs and improvements to the grounds irrigation and drainage systems for the community.
How You'll Do It:
Assist in programming the irrigation computer.
Perform a variety of manual labor related duties to include but not limited to irrigation and drainage projects.
Remove and install pumps and filters at the pumping stations.
Troubleshoot and repair drainage and irrigation systems including but not limited to sprinklers, lateral lines, main lines, irrigation valves, electrical wires and irrigation controllers.
Winterize and de-winterize irrigation system.
Act as Grounds Keeper in "off season".
About You:
Minimum of 1 year's experience in landscape irrigation, drainage systems, or a related field.
Ability to design and install irrigation and drainage systems including drip systems.
Knowledge of irrigation hydraulics and backflow devices.
Ability to operate a trencher, backhoe, and front loader as well as other landscape maintenance equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
