Summary
The Floor Specialist works in a team performing the stripping and refinishing of floors, cleaning carpets, and windows. This position works variable days and hours as needed and may require occasional overnight travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Adheres to and demonstrates Pathway Enterprises Inc. core values, mission, compliance plan, OSHA, state and federal regulations in the performance of all aspects of this position.
2. Must be available to work Weekends and go on out of town trips.
3. Able to safely operate equipment and use safety gear as needed.
- Properly use a ladder according to OSHA standards.
- Properly use harnesses and roof anchors when having to be on rooftops.
- Use proper PPE when on slippery surfaces.
4. Inventories and inspects equipment:
- Tests equipment before leaving for the jobsite.
- Cleans equipment at the end of shift.
- Reports any equipment damage to their supervisor.
- Reports supply requests to their supervisor.
5. Inspects vehicle for damage; checks oil level; checks that headlights, brake lights, and turn signals are working.
6. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive safely.
7. Must be able to work within a team.
8. Is required to be knowledgeable in and diligently follow the policies set forth by Pathway Enterprises Inc.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
