12 acre farm in Talent seeking a resident farm hand. Housing is a 35’ large RV on site, in exchange for 10hrs land labor per week plus $350 per month. Farm hand pays for own propane, owner provides electric, water, sewer. (Estimated value of $1150 rent)
Must have own vehicle, paying employment elsewhere, no pets, no smoking, no drugs, no partying.
Must be willing to do a criminal background check and provide a resume with current job info and references.
Job entails: weed/grass/blackberry control, fruit tree pruning, fencing repairs, farm building maintenance…. Basic maintenance farm and handyman style, to care for the property. Occasional help with farm animals (no previous skill there required there).
Honest and trustworthy, hard working self motivated…. All a must!
As this is a resident position , applicants will be screened diligently, so only respond if serious and can provide references and verification of employment from the start.
First month will be a straight trade for installing a privacy fence (labor and material per owner specs) along with some yard clean up, around the RV
