Part-Time Position Opening: Compassionate LPC Associate Interested in Perinatal Mental Health Specialization

We are delighted to invite a caring and committed LPC Associate with a heartfelt interest in perinatal mental health to join our private/group practice. This part-time position offers a nurturing environment to grow under the mentorship of an experienced LPC, with generous compensation depending on skill-level and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Intake new clients with mental health assessments, diagnotic evaluations, treatment planning, and all other duties of the intake process.

- Provide warm, safe, attuned, empathetic and confident mental health support to clients navigating the complexities of perinatal/postpartum mental health.

- Embrace a journey of continuous learning and development in the specialization of perinatal mental health, guided by a seasoned professional.

- Offer sessions filled with kindness, patience, and understanding to clients in moments of acute distress, grief, confusion and vulnerability.

- See clients in our centrally located, private practice office in Ashland, with initial availability on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, half of Mondays and Wednesday afternoons.

Essential Qualifications:

- Valid LPC Associate status with external supervision in place.

- A sincere passion for and dedication to specializing in perinatal/postpartum mental health.

- An inherent ability to provide gentle, empathetic, and effective care to those in emotional turmoil.

- A commitment to engage in initial training and continuous weekly consultation to deepen your expertise.
