Compassionate Dentistry is seeking a full time dental assistant to join our fun and family friendly dental practice. Dr. Sara Riechers and her dental team strive to provide quality, patient-centered dental care in a positive, compassionate and efficient manner.
Qualified candidates will have the below skills:
Impeccable sterile technique
Have excellent verbal/written skills, be professional and have an outstanding work ethic
Must have that "Go Getter" attitude and want to be part of a fun/successful team
Great follow through/resolve
Attention to detail/complete tasks with precision and accuracy
Fast learning capability with appropriate office software
Reliable
EFDA, sealant and soft reline certifications a plus
Duties include but not limited to:
Take x-rays
Assist doctor with dental procedures
Prepare patients for treatment
Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
Accurate charting
Stock rooms and order supplies
Sterilize instrument
Equipment maintenance and upkeep
Answer phone calls with a smile
Checking patients in and out
Scheduling appointments
Attending CE courses, particularly Oregon Dental Convention in April
Other duties as assigned
Typical week: 4 days/week, 9 hours/day
Compensation commensurate with education and experience. Potential benefits include production bonus, paid time off, IRA retirement plan and dental work for immediate family members. Medical benefit may be added soon.
