Reynolds Family Dentistry (RFD) seeks a qualified, compassionate, and committed Front Desk Coordinator to become part of the RFD Team.

Summary: The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for greeting patients at the front desk, answering telephone lines, verifying patient insurance, providing support to the front and back office teams, ensuring scheduling protocols are met, and making sure that the patient experience is exceptional.

Hours, two positions: 7:45am-5:00pm Mon-Thursday (Full-Time) in Medford, or 12:45pm-5:00pm (Part-Time) Mon-Thurs in Grants Pass.

Essential Functions:

● Provide information and other appropriate paperwork to patients with verbal instruction on how to complete the forms correctly.

● Accurately collect confidential, sensitive patient information, maintaining HIPAA standards.

● Enter pertinent data from completed client paperwork into a computer database for charting and reporting purposes.

● Accurately verify eligibility for insurance for patient visits.

● Check-in patients for scheduled appointments.

● Coordinate with clinic staff to determine availability for non-scheduled appointments and ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.

● Ensure Front Office environment is clean, tidy and professional.

● Collect, document, and account for any accounts receivable.

● Ensure patient experience in all facets of RFD care is professional and compassionate.

● Produce daily reports as needed.

● Ensure functionality of front office tech systems, working with Operations Manager when necessary.

● Other office duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. One year of related experience

2. Dentrix software experience

3. Bilingual English/Spanish
