As a caregiver, you will be a crucial part of the overall family care. Providing care within the outlined care plan based on both individual clients' needs, and the overall needs of the family. This position includes 2 clients, female 40s, and male 70s, split between two primary locations (Grants Pass and Merlin). Female client's care level is currently at a level 5, and male clients' care level is currently a 2 or low 3 depending on the day.
General Description
Assist client with ADLs when needed and encourage independence.
Encourage personal care: oral care, fluid consumption, showering, etc.
Organize, arrange, and provide transportation to all appointments and meetings.
Traveling medication management and assisting with medication administration when needed
Assist with memory care when needed and record all appointments and meetings in the calendar.
Bathing assistance.
Meal preparation.
Light to moderate housekeeping as needed.
Transportation to and from appointments and social activities
Requirements
Physical capacity to assist with standing, bending down, and ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Certification in CPR/First Aid (Level 1 minimum, level 2 encouraged)
Ability to pass drug testing upon hire.
Driver’s license and current insurance for transport needs
Ability to provide safe transport.
Schedule
TBD. Part-time or Full-time. Occasional weekend and evening availability is preferred.
Compensation: DOE $17.50-$23/hr
