Black Bar Lodge is seeking seasonal Housekeeping, Maintenance, Cook, for the 2024 season.
We are a remote wilderness Lodge on the Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River.
We, as a family, have been operating for 64 years.
Our positions are a hybrid job involving Meal service in a Family style, (no short order table waiting.)
Dishes, Laundry and Cabin Cleaning.
We have individual cabins that require daily Housekeeping, Mopping, dusting, making beds, as well as cleaning bathrooms
Our staff live on site while on shift due to the remoteness of the Lodge, which is a 1.5 hour drive one way from Merlin Oregon.
We meet at a weekly shuttle location, and time, and we provide the transportation to the lodge for approximately (schedule may vary) One Week long shift, and the return to town.
We have secure parking at our meeting place in Merlin, so a car can be left for safe keeping while working.
Lodging in employees housing, as well as meals are provided at NO COST while on the shift at the lodge, successful candidate must have a "Home Base" or other arrangement to go to for the scheduled days off in between weekly shifts.
Pay periods are Twice Monthly and wages are listed and to be discussed more at interview.
Compensation includes Housing, Meals, Daily Salary, and for high performers Season end bonus, as well as very generous tips from our customers,
Our season will begin around the first week of May 2024, and goes through the End of October 2024. Roughly 5-6 months.
We appreciate quality work and timeliness, as well as a can do attitude, we expect a positive engagement with our guests and an easy going living scenario with your co-workers.
Meeting those minimum expectations earns your pay, however we have a great appreciation of those that go over and above, and generously reward go-getters, as such we are very happy to give end of season bonuses of an amount that few businesses would ever even consider for seasonal work.
