We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen and continue the creativity, leadership, and excellence of our restaurant. The ideal candidate is a passionate culinary professional with a strong background in fine dining, menu development, and kitchen management. This is a hands-on position, with daily line work, not an office job.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and presentation
Develop innovative, seasonal menus that align with our restaurant’s vision
Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff, while working with them on the line or expo
Manage food costs, monthly inventory, and supplier relationships
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety
Help management and ownership to maintain labor and food cost benchmarks
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Expertise in French and American preferred, but all backgrounds are welcome
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Passion for culinary excellence and guest satisfaction
Experience with spreadsheets, point of sales, inventory management software, and recipe costing
