We're hiring for an early morning Bagel Bakery Professional/Delivery Person!
Position: Part Time: Mon/Wed/Fri to start, adding Thur/Sat asap.
Roles for this position include: Early morning baking, boiling, and dough production, as well as packaging and delivering product to local merchants using your car, with reimbursement for miles driven.
Baking/boiling job is early mornings (start time generally at 5am). Applicant must be a morning person, able to follow directions as well as self direct and think critically, utilizing basic math skills in early morning settings.
Baking and yeast dough/bread experience is required and bagel experience in a commercial setting is preferred. Attention to detail, following recipes, and maintaining quality standards are expected.
Applicant must be able to stand for hours during a shift, perform repetitive movements, lift 50lbs and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
Applicant will be punctual and reliable, understanding that all operations for that day depend on timely and quality production of bagels.
Applicant will be willing and able to take feedback and follow the business's methods for production.
Applicant will be able to work with bakery machinery and be efficient, organized, self directed and a great team player with good communication skills in our small business work environment.
Position starts at $19/hour, DOE.
