Job Title: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Recording daily financial transactions in the company’s point of sale and accounting software programs
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate general ledgers
Reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparing statements & invoices for customers ensuring timely payment collection
Assisting with payroll administration and related reporting
Assisting with financial reporting and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems
Upholding confidentiality and security of all financial and employee data
Record keeping of trailer sales
Maintaining inventory of office supplies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other office software
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Solid organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Trustworthy, with a strong sense of integrity and discretion
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Relevant certifications (such as Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus
