Attention Tax Managers! We have an opening with an incredible firm in the SW Portland area!What you'll be doing:

Providing proactive year round tax planning

Perform technical reviews of tax returns of varying types and complexities

Manage client relationships, including assessing client needs and developing strategies/solutions to provide clients with the highest level of service

When needed, prepare complex business, fiduciary and individual tax returns

Provide mentorship to other tax staff; assist in the growth, development and training of the team

Must have:

5+ years of Public Accounting experience

Active CPA or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process)

Solid experience with corporate Tax prep/planning and tax returns of multi-state, high net-worth clientele

Tech Savvy – Experience with Tax/Audit software (CHH ProSystem Preferred)

Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications

Must be in geographic region for occasional in-office meetings if needed

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Applicable or equitable amount of total experience

Nice to have:

CPA Eligible OR Active Oregon CPA certification or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process).

CHH ProSystem software experience.

Fixed Asset Software.

Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm.

Experience working with construction or non-profit client base.

Degree in related field.
