Mary's Woods is looking for an energetic, alert, compassionate and team orientedNurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)to join our team. As a Nurse, you will workcollaboratively to provide excellent care to older adults as you continue to promote our mission and vision. Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture.We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values. Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful:

Demonstrates an expertise in the execution or supervision of skilled nursing procedures, i.e., medication pass, treatments within the scope of his/her licensure.

Assists the Unit Coordinator in writing and updating medical/nursing plan of care or service plan.

Documents resident information using appropriate terminology, spelling and abbreviations according to policies of facility and state and federal regulatory agencies.

Makes daily rounds and identifies early signs and symptoms, changes in resident’s physical or psychological statusand consults with physician or DNS as necessary.

Responsible for developing the total care plan/service plan and oversees the process to ensure compliance.

Provides and assures resident safety measures at all times.

Creates an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates differences.

Functions and communicates effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities and cultural backgrounds.

Demonstrates knowledge of resident’s medical diagnosis and current medical status and uses this in documenting the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.

Education & Experience:

Holds a current and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the State of Oregon.

Minimum of one year experience in a Long Term Care (or similar) environment preferred.

Current CPR, First Aide, and Food Handlers certification within three (3) months of hire.

Pay:

From $36.00 per hour (LPN)

From $42.00 per hour (RN)

The starting wagedependson experience, certification and education.

Shifts Available:

Day (6:30 am- 3:00 pm)

Evening (2:30 pm- 11:00 pm)
