Mary's Woods is lookingfor a Maintenance Technicianwho will bringtheir professional experience to Mary's Woods. As a MaintenanceTechnician,you will be part of the team that is responsible for responding to resident work requests while also balancing work on preventive maintenance items. You will be contributing to the maintenance and operations of the premises to create a beautiful and safe community for residents and their guests to enjoy.You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team. Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture.We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values. Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience, and skills needed to be successful:
Working knowledge and ability to operate power hand tools and equipment and read common measuring instruments.
Performinterior and exterior repairs to the buildings, grounds, equipment, system and performminor repairs on carpet, tile, and plastic laminate
Assistin testing fire alarm, emergency generator, HVAC, and other systems and participatein fire alarm, personal call, and other emergency responses as needed.
Performscheduled maintenance checks of the buildings, grounds, and facilities.
A minimum of three years experience in facilitymaintenance is required and youmust have a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience Required:
Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a High School Diploma
