Mary's Woods, a premiersenior living community located in Lake Oswego, has an openingfor a Floor Care Technician who will bringtheir professional experience to Mary's Woods.As theFloor Care Technician, you will be cleaningand maintainingcarpeted, tiled and wood floors while attending to any janitorial needs.You will be contributing daily to create a clean and beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy.You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents and families, and enjoy working on a team. Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture.We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values. Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful:
Cleanfloors in residential units and common areas demonstrating proper floor cleaning techniques on both carpet and hard surfaces including waxing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spotting, and deep cleaning
Cleans up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as directed
Ensures resident’s rooms are safe, comfortable, maintained in an attractive manner, and resident’s personal items are safeguarded
Maintainall cleaning equipment at an operator's level
Reportall hazardous conditions/equipment to the Housekeeping Manager and/or Director of Environmental Services
Education and Experience Required:
Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED
Shift: Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
