Mechanic, Diesel, Agricultural Technician:
Platt Equipment Company, Inc dba – Pelican Tractor Company is a Family owned Kubota, LandPride, Great Plains and Vermeer dealer with strong community ties. We are looking for an enthusiastic trustworthy new team member who brings experience, knowledge & skills to diagnose, repair and service of Agricultural and Construction Equipment. Mobile Service experience is a benefit, however, not required.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers – Ability facility in the use of hand & and
specialty tooling in the repair, service & assembly equipment sold to customers as well as a variety of other
equipment.
Technicians contribute to the overall company’s success by safely, correctly and efficiently completing repair orders
in a timely manner.
Identify correct parts needed for the repair order and coordinate with staff for special orders.
Effectively utilize computer programs & stay current on all required training and certifications.
Provide customer care to train, demonstrate and teach basics on sold equipment.
Ensure timely processes to manage paperwork flow for work orders and pertinent receipts
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Represent the Company in a positive manner at all times.
Valid Drivers License and good driving record to operate Company vehicles and/or Service Truck
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds in the daily course of the job.
Contribute to the overall grounds maintenance & equipment displays to enhance curbside appeal of the business.
