Community Volunteer Network (CVN) is seeking a part time Klamath County Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! This is a local remote/hybrid position that requires regular attendance at events in the community - the ideal candidate must reside in Klamath County, Oregon.

Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday; 12 - 16 hours per week

What You Will Be Doing: You will recruit and retain volunteers and provide coordination of the Foster Grandparent Program in Klamath County, Oregon.

Recruit, retain, and place program volunteers at volunteer stations.

Coordinate the development of new volunteer station sites.

Maintain a workable system for registering, orienting, processing, and placing volunteers.

Conduct, and or assist with, volunteer recognition events, functions, and other special projects as requested by director.

Coordinate volunteer assignments and activities. Work with designated volunteer station staff to ensure appropriate training is provided to volunteers in their assignments.

About You:

Must reside in Klamath County, Oregon.

Two (2) years’ experience working with volunteers, especially diverse groups of people in a variety of situations is preferred.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and experience in independent problem solving.

Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel, and database programs.
