Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tower Erectors/Millwright/Ironworkers' to join our team. Scope of work: rigging silos & hoppers on concrete plant field work
Traveling $35 per hour with per diem to those who qualify.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble iron or steel components
Weld or bolt connections to secure iron structures
Erect and dismantle rigging, scaffolding and other temporary structures
Install reinforcing bars (rebar) in concrete structures
Operate hand and power tools to perform cutting, drilling, grinding, and other tasks
Inspect and maintain iron structures for safety and functionality
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Ironworker or similar role
Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to ironworking
Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Millwright experience
Skills:
Industrial electrician skills
Hydraulics knowledge
Customer service skills for interacting with clients on job sites
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
Military experience is a plus
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) familiarity for tracking maintenance activities
Industrial maintenance experience for equipment upkeep
