Five Marys Ranch in Siskiyou County Fort Jones CA (www.fivemarys.com) is hiring a ranch hand who is honest, reliable, accountable, self motivated, efficient and will help take exceptional care of our livestock, equipment and ranch.
Start Date:9/2-6/24
5-5.5 days per week (requires weekend work)
$24-25/hour DOE (overtime paid after 45 hours per week) - Previous ranch hand in same position made more than $70K last year!
No Housing available currently - ranch housing may be available in Summer 2025. Can help find housing locally.
We primarily use quads and sides by sides on ranch and have lots of horses now - no room for more horses.
Must have :
Solid Livestock Experience
Heavy equipment experience - SAFE operation and basic maintenance
Clean Driving Record - solid trailer hauling experience
Desired Additional Skills:
Mechanic Skills
Specific livestock experience - cattle, pigs, sheep, horses
Fence Construction
Class A license
Construction experience
Welding
