ZCS Engineering & Architecture is a multi-disciplinary Oregon A&E consulting firm that has served clients throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1978. As an established engineering firm with an emerging architectural department, we work collaboratively across disciplines and offices to provide comprehensive services to our clients. Many of our recent projects include substantial renovations and additions for K-12 educational facilities and seismic retrofits of existing buildings. ZCS has four office locations: Grants Pass, Medford, Klamath Falls, and Oregon City.

As a Lead Designer in the structural engineering discipline, you will ultimately leverage your in-depth knowledge of structural engineering and construction, strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and strong communication acumen to manage projects through completion and develop construction documents. The responsibilities of this position include:
-Utilize experience and knowledge from coursework and experience in structural design for projects ranging from private residences to K-12 campuses and commercial developments.
-Manage project delivery and utilize staff in a team atmosphere to produce projects from concept through construction including project status monitoring, tracking staff schedules and workload, project deadlines, and completing projects on time and on budget.
-Perform structural calculations and prepare calculation packages for jurisdictional approval.
-4-year or 5-year bachelor's degree or master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university required.
-5 years minimum post graduate structural engineering experience in a consulting firm that provides structural engineering services for low to mid-rise structures.
-EIT is preferred, but no required.
