Note: this position falls outside of most Work Share contract agreements, which for some districts, ends June 15th. This will position would not have an impact on your claims, since the work falls outside of the the contract time frames.Hours: Beginning June 15th and running 4 weeks. Classes will be done primarily in the mornings from 10AM to 12PM, Monday through Thursday. Additional time will be devoted to checking in with students. 10 to 20 hours per week.Subjects: Elementary education; must be bilingual (Spanish). Emphasis on Reading (in Spanish) and MathLocation: Virtual Classrooms (Google Meet) for a variety of schools located around the Portland area. Requirements:
-Must have a current Oregon Teaching License
-Master of Arts in Teaching or Education preferred.
-Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check

-Provide individualized instruction to disadvantaged students to improve academic performance.
-Create weekly lessons utilizing a variety of on-line tools to engage students academically
-Teach students study skills and test-taking strategies.
-Work collaboratively with Education Manager and other tutors to ensure student success.
-Includes paid planning time, time for weekly check-ins with students, and paid professional development.
