This role works to produce-high quality components used in the world’s finest tools used by researches like Nobel prize winners and the teams who imaged the COVID-19 virus.How Will You Make an Impact?:The Senior Assembler performs assembly, wiring, alignments and final configuration of components in an assembly. The Senior Assembler collaborates with colleagues towards common production goals via documented manufacturing procedures. This position also participates in continuous process improvement activities and maintains the highest standards for workplace safety and quality.A Day in the Life:

Conduct assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures and test equipment.

Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process

Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions

Assist in selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment

Perform equipment set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance

Follow audit and safety guidelines

Train current and new employees

Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:

2+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience

Compensation

Competitive Hourly Pay Rate: $26.00

Additional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions

Annual performance-based bonus
