Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Operations Manager in the housing services industry, located in Hillsboro, Oregon. The successful candidate will take on a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. They will also oversee the administration process for contracts and grants.Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll Manage the administration process for the housing authority's contracts and grants Assist with the coordination of fiscal year-end activities, financial reporting, and audits Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations Work collaboratively with a team of four operational processors Utilize financial reporting tools such as Yardi and HUD Apply knowledge of GASB standards and Fund Accounting practices in non-profit settings Please note that the job description ends here. Requirements Proven work experience as a Financial Operations Manager for a minimum of 7 years. Proficiency in financial management software, specifically Yardi. Expert knowledge of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. Demonstrable skills in Financial Reporting, with the ability to generate, analyze, and present detailed reports. Comprehensive understanding of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles. Experience in Fund Accounting specifically within a Non-Profit sector.
