The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Hillsboro, Oregon region and is a permanent employment opportunity. You will succeed in this position if you can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.Your responsibilities
Respond to requests for information from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
Validate documents and codes
Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
Correspond with clients to resolve payment issues and set up payment plans
Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP

Relevant experience in accounts receivable
Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Strong attention to detail
Strong familiarity with typing 45 - 60 words per minute
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Credit experience highly desired
Command of 10 Key Skills
10 Key Accounting experience
Proven knowledge of credit collections
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
