Tax Preparer

Description We are in search of a diligent Tax Preparer for our operations in Gresham, Oregon. This role is pivotal in our organization, requiring the individual to prepare and complete accurate tax returns for both individuals and businesses. The Tax Preparer will utilize tax software to calculate tax information, review financial records to determine tax liabilities, and provide exceptional customer service.Responsibilities: Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses. Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine tax liabilities. Utilize tax software, such as Lacerte, to input and calculate tax information. Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify potential deductions or credits. Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues related to their taxes. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and current tax preparation. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tax returns. Use Accounting Software Systems, Drake Tax Software, Lacerte Tax Software, and Microsoft Excel to perform tax preparation duties. Provide excellent customer service and handle Expense Reporting.
