Local Excavation company seeking qualified Underground Utility Installer and Heavy Equipment operators in residential and commercial site work. We work all year long in the Lane county area. Requirements:
Looking for qualified individuals who can Install Water, Sanitary, Storm pipe systems, and telecommunication cabling.
Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure trenches are dug out to the correct grade by guiding the mainline operator, and/or use of shovels, by following lasers, and levels
Know how to read plans, grades and know how to locate and dig around underground utilities.
Knowledge of equipment, and setup, of lasers, transits, grade rods, and line levels.
Ensure that the pipe is laid to exact grades by use of laser, and levels
Measure and cut pipes to correct lengths, and have knowledge of correct equipment to make said cuts
Must maintain equipment and keep clean cabs.
Must be able to work independently and as a team.
