Walsh Trucking Co. is a family owned and operated business since 1959, and a recognized leader in the wood residuals and refuse transportation industry! We are currently in need of a Service/Lube Technician at our shop in Eugene. This is a regular, full time position on day shift. On this shift you can choose a schedule of either Tues-Sat or Sunday-Thursday day shift hours.
Job Duties:
o Performing preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers
o Complete basic repairs found during inspections/as needed
o Repair/Replace tires as required
o Assist mechanics with advanced repairs
o Basic electrical/lighting repairs
o Basic air brake repairs/maintenance
o Completes work orders and parts requests accurately.
A Successful Candidate will possess:
o 1-2 years industry experience or Diesel/Auto School or Training
o High school diploma or GED
o Basic service tools
o Valid driver license & clean driving record
o The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o The work ethic and talent to learn to move up into a Mechanic Position

o Compensation $25.00-27.00 per hour, DOE
