Job Summary:

As a Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing motorcycles to ensure they're running at peak performance. You'll use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Shifts: Flexible, Seasonal, Full Time

The job:

Being a Willamette Valley Motoplex Motorcycle Technician is more than just routine maintenance and repairs. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic motorcycles in the world and help riders experience the thrill of the open road. You'll be part of a team that's dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring that every motorcycle that comes through our doors is in top-notch condition. A Motorcycle License is required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform service on customer & dealer motorcycles in accordance with Manufacturer specs

Demonstrate prompt, dependable and high quality workmanship

Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period

Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible

Accept work assignments from Service Writer/Manager

Request parts for jobs

Ensure proper completion and filing of job paperwork

Keep work areas clean and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness

Maintain technical qualification by completing necessary training assigned by Service Manager

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

MMI Graduate and/or Previous Technician Experience Only

Maintain up to date mechanical knowledge of motorcycles

Understanding of computer systems and have good computer skills

Enthusiasm for motorcycles – particularly our product lines (Harley-Davidson; Indian Motorcycles; Polaris Offroad; Royal Enfield)

Dealership experience preferred

MMI graduate a plus

Technicians are required to own their own tools

Must exhibit a strong work ethic and work well in a team environment

Motorcycle endorsement/license required with clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
