Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to oversee our solar electric projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the solar electrical field, impeccable work ethic, and the desire to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Install electrical systems and components, including limited wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine project specifications and requirements.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

Commission electrical systems, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.

Ensure the proper maintenance and use of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Must be a licensed Oregon journeyman electrician,

Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, electrical systems, installation, maintenance and repair, safety standards, and best practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal and organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
