Established custom cabinet manufacturer located near Redding, CA, has a position available for a Finisher/Sprayer/Shop Worker. We supply premium casework, cabinetry, millwork, and counter tops for commercial projects like schools, medical facilities, and retail establishments, as well as for custom homes. We are a family owned and operated company established in 1986.

Pay TBD by work experience and history. Core hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Benefits include 401K with company match, some paid holidays and medical, and performance-based bonuses.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in furniture or cabinet finishing and be skilled in all facets of wood finishing such as color matching stains, paints and create formulations for projects and must also be very skilled at spraying lacquers, conversion varnish, and other coatings. The right candidate will benefit from having cabinet building experience. Wood working ability in related fields may be considered. As well as being a Finisher/Sprayer, you will be cutting, assembling, sanding, and moving cabinets, drawers, doors and other casework. Need to have reliable transportation, be punctual and have excellent attendance. As a Finisher/Sprayer/Shop Worker, you will be a vital part of our team, utilizing your core skills to contribute to our production processes. Job Requirements/General Duties:

Excellent spraying skills (CV, lacquer, water based)

Distressing

Pigmented solid conversion varnish finishes

Primer application

Stain application

Conversion varnish topcoat

Color matching stains

Line glaze and full glaze applications

On and off site touch up when needed

Pump maintenance and upkeep

Must be teachable and have good communication skills

Must be able to MAKE ACCURATE CUTS

Work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality workmanship

Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Be punctual and maintain assigned work schedules

Must be in good physical condition and able to lift/move 50 lbs. repetitively

Keep work areas organized and clean

Reliability, honesty and integrity are a must

Be hard-working, motivated and be a team player
