Smeed Communications is hiring for a Network-Cloud Telephone Technician to install, maintain and expand customers infrastructure and Cloud phone services.
Position Responsibilities:
Install and/or support – computers, AV devices, phones, printers, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP, DNS, DHCP, & NEC Blue cloud phone services.
Install, configure, and maintain network devices and service including routers, firewalls, switches, voice equipment, UPS's, VPN, etc.
Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems and outages with customer and perform task for repairs or adds.
Train end-users on operations of supported products.
Position Requirements:
Trade Degree or 1+ year experience in Information Systems, Networking, Cloud Phone Service, or related field is desired.
1+ years of Microsoft Server experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills along with good communication abilities.
Strong Proficiency in troubleshooting and customer service.
Strong technical skills with PCs. Ability to learn and support new products.
Ability to create network diagrams and documentation.
Available to perform some out-of-town work.
Capable to be cross trained into other systems like A/V and camera systems.
Demonstrated emotional control under stress/positive attitude when providing support.
Troubleshooting firewall, access point, router, switch, controller, router problems.
LAN and WAN experience.
