On-site, Backup Manager for Self Storage Facility
We are looking for a live-in, part-time back-up manager for a storage facility in Harrisburg, OR.
Important Note: This is a combination of a part-time job (12-20 hours/week), and apartment rental ($925/month). See below for details.
Primary Skills needed:
Courteous and knowledgeable Customer Service.
Ability to get along well with other managers.
Phone skills, including receiving credit card payments.
Computer and software skills
General Office management, filing, copying, light cleaning
Skills needed occasionally:
Physical ability to lift (25lbs), climb ladders, and general mobility.
Cleaning, sweeping, maintenance indoors and outdoors.
Hours per week:
Roughly 12-20 hours per week. This could include a combination of 1-2 full days (9-5), some ½ days per week, and 2 Saturdays (9-4) per month. The schedule is flexible and coordinated with other managers.
On-Site Apartment:
The on-site apartment has 2 large bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and washer/dryer. It is an 1,100 sq foot home, located above the main office of the facility. The manager who lives there will pay $925/month rent which includes Wi-fi, electricity, sewer, water and garbage.
Compensation:
Wage ($16-19/hour) depends on experience. Compensation also includes the lower-than-market rent of the apartment (with wi-fi and utilities). PTO and HRA offered after an introductory period.
