SWIFT Lead Family Interventionist

The OSLC Developments Inc. (ODI) Clinic seeks a warm and enthusiastic Lead Family Interventionist to provide weekly support to parents participating in the Students with Involved Families and Teachers (SWIFT) program. After the initial training period, this position will expand to include program supervision.

Requirements:

Level 7: Master’s degree with major coursework in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work.

Level 8: Master’s degree with major coursework in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, including clinical mental health experience.

QMHP-eligible required.

Valid Driver's License.

What we are looking for:

Experience with a behavioral approach to treatment.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Demonstrated skill organizing and communicating.

Experience as a therapist or education professional preferred.

Experience with case documentation preferred.

Familiarity with, understanding of, and enthusiasm for, evidence-based protocols preferred.

Experience supervising staff preferred.

Experience with crisis management and conducting risk assessments preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Job Duties:

Follows manualized protocol for conducting intervention with youth, families, and school staff.

Conducts family therapy with parents using behavioral interventions, clinical case management, and cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches.

Responsible for lead interventionist duties after initial training period:

o Responsible for case management duties including participating in special education and other school meetings, collaborating with collateral agencies as needed, and connecting clients with resources as needed.

o Responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment plans.

o Supervises parent and skills coaches.

o Provides 24-hour on-call availability for supervision of counselors, including but not limited to the management of behavioral crises and risk assessments.
