Lanz Cabinets is currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This role involves purchasing materials essential for cabinet manufacturing, as well as operating a forklift to support warehouse and production activities.
Essential Job Duties:
Verify quantities and specifications of purchase requests to ensure accuracy of materials
Maintain warehouse inventory control process
Issue purchase orders and review invoices for approval
Maintain records of purchases and work with suppliers to ensure proper supply level of materials to ensure steady production
Transport materials and supplies using a Forklift.
Necessary Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable in wood products / species
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
Task and detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Must have a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Excellent attendance is a must.
