Seeking a Production Staff Member and Quality Control Assistant for a Natural Products Manufacturer
40 hours/week
Full Time, Non-exempt
Reports to: Operations Manager, Head of Quality Control
Compensation: $12-14 an hour with quarterly profit sharing and annual bonuses
Liquid Herbal Extract Company is seeking an employee for production work and to act as an assistant to the Head of Compliance. Specifically, we are looking for someone capable of the following:
Bottling, Capping and Sealing Bottles
Maintain Organization of Materials, Products, and Supplies
Complying with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintains and Verifies Accurate Production Records
Keeping up with and Completing Cleaning Logs for GMP Compliance.
Cleaning Specialized Equipment and Fragile Glassware per Standard Operating Procedures
Familiarity with Production Machinery
Operating Production Line Equipment
Assembling Goods on a Production Line
Reporting Equipment Faults to Maintenance Staff
Provides Additional Compliance Assistance as Needed
Necessary Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Stand and walk throughout work day on concrete
Constant movement
Basic math and fine motor skills
Ability to work in fluctuating summer temperatures
Requirements:
Oregon Food Handlers Card
Extreme care and attention to detail
Focus on improving efficiency
Detailed record keeping
Accurate communication with co-workers
Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to apply knowledge
Proactive and precise
Must consistently demonstrate a high degree of initiative and be action-oriented
